Refund Policy

Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all our orders. Paddle provides all customer service enquiries and handles returns.

1. 14-Day Money-Back Guarantee

We offer a 14-day money-back guarantee for all new subscriptions. If you are not satisfied with BeatButler for any reason, you can request a full refund within 14 days of your initial purchase. No questions asked.

2. How to Request a Refund

To request a refund, please:

  • Email us at info@beatrepeatindustries.com with the subject "Refund Request"
  • Include your account email address and order/invoice number
  • Let us know if there is anything we could have done better (optional)

We will process your refund within 5-7 business days. Refunds are issued to your original payment method only. The refund will appear on your statement within 7-10 business days depending on your bank or card issuer.

Any applicable taxes (VAT, GST, sales tax) that were charged on the original transaction will also be refunded.

3. Automatic Renewal and Cancellation

All BeatButler subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period at the then-current price. You authorise Paddle to charge your payment method on a recurring basis until you cancel.

You can cancel your subscription at any time from your account settings in the BeatButler application. Upon cancellation, you will retain access to BeatButler until the end of your current billing period. We do not provide pro-rated refunds for partial months, except during the initial 14-day guarantee period or as required by applicable consumer protection law.

4. Plan Changes

  • Upgrades: When you upgrade your plan, you will be charged the prorated difference for the remainder of your current billing period. Your new plan takes effect immediately.
  • Downgrades: When you downgrade your plan, the change takes effect at the end of your current billing period. No refund or credit is issued for the remaining time on the higher plan.

5. Exceptions

The following situations are not eligible for refunds:

  • Subscription renewals (after the first billing cycle)
  • Accounts terminated for Terms of Service violations
  • Refund requests made after the 14-day guarantee period
  • Charges incurred due to failure to cancel before renewal
  • Promotional or discounted subscriptions, unless otherwise stated in the promotion terms

We reserve the right to refuse refund requests where we identify evidence of fraud, refund abuse, or other manipulative behaviour. Repeated refund requests may result in account review or termination.

6. Data Retention After Refund

If you receive a refund, your account will be downgraded to the Collaborator (free) plan or closed. We recommend downloading any project files you wish to keep before requesting a refund. After account closure, your data will be retained for 90 days before permanent deletion, in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

7. Billing Errors

If you believe you have been charged in error, please contact us immediately at info@beatrepeatindustries.com. We will investigate the issue and process a refund if an error occurred, regardless of the 14-day window.

8. Free Trial

If you cancel during a free trial period, you will not be charged. The 14-day money-back guarantee applies to paid subscriptions only and begins when you are first charged, not at the start of a free trial. Free trials are limited to one per person.

9. Currency and Taxes

  • Prices are displayed in your local currency by Paddle at checkout. Exchange rates may fluctuate between the time of purchase and refund.
  • Refunds are issued in the same currency as the original charge. Any exchange rate differences between the original charge and the refund are not our responsibility.
  • Your bank or card issuer may apply its own currency conversion fees, which are outside our control.
  • Applicable taxes (VAT, GST, sales tax) are calculated and collected by Paddle as the Merchant of Record. Tax amounts are refunded proportionally with any refund.

10. Chargebacks and Disputes

If you have a billing concern, please contact us at info@beatrepeatindustries.com before filing a chargeback or dispute with your bank or payment provider. We are committed to resolving billing issues quickly and fairly.

Filing a chargeback while a refund request is being processed may result in your account being suspended until the dispute is resolved. Chargebacks are processed by Paddle as the Merchant of Record.

11. Consumer Rights

Nothing in this Refund Policy affects your statutory rights as a consumer under applicable law. In particular:

  • Australian users: Under the Australian Consumer Law (ACL), you have consumer guarantees that cannot be excluded. If the service fails to meet these guarantees, you may be entitled to a remedy regardless of this policy.
  • EU/UK users: You have a statutory 14-day right of withdrawal under the EU Consumer Rights Directive and UK Consumer Rights Act 2015. This right exists independently of our 14-day money-back guarantee.
  • US users: Your rights under applicable state and federal consumer protection laws are not limited by this policy.
